Project Summary

Requiem, an experience of light and sound in honor of the victims of Covid-19. From the Cathedral of Santiago of Bilbao, Necsum has wanted to show its solidarity and pay a loving tribute to all those affected by the pandemic. In this creative way, the Digital Art involves the Corus of Bilbao live to create a unique show, which was broadcasted in more than 400 cities around the world through the Fair Saturday foundation.

60.000 lumens of projection and a huge digital system connected to flood the cathedral with lightart.The show covers the Requiem of Fauré, considered one of the most beautiful Requiem Masses. Shocking visual effects, holograms, lights and video art accompany this immersive ceremony. One of the most exciting moments recreates the burning catedral. The company was inspired by the fire that the temple suffered in 1374 and which forced the building to be rebuilt with greater pretenses. The Gothic-style cathedral was built in the 14th century and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site within the Caminos of Santiago of Compostela.
